Access to the Faculty of Engineering Azure Dev Tools for Teaching service is limited to UVic Faculty of Engineering students, faculty, and staff with an @uvic.ca email address.
Undergraduate Students
Students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering programs recieve rights to unlimited usage of software for the purpose of furthering their learning and research efforts. The software is not to be used to run a business or for ventures that drive commercial profit.
Graduate Students
Graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering recieve rights to unlimited usage of software for the purpose of furthering their learning and research efforts. The software is not to be used to run a business or for ventures that drive commercial profit.
Faculty Members
If a faculty member is officially teaching or enrolled in an UVic Faculty of Engineering course, he/she is eligible to install Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software onto their personal computer for non-commercial use.
Staff
Any professional support staff in the Faculty of Engineering whose primary responsibility is to maintain departmental labs or support teaching are eligible to install Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software onto their personal computers for evaluation purposes only.
Faculty of Engineering owned computers
Use of Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software on Faculty of Engineering owned computers is limited to lab and classroom use only.
